Community service gives me the honor and privilege to be able to contribute positively to the people around me. In the 25 years I’ve lived in Orange County, I have found many ways to be involved in my community from my work with the Cypress PD, the MADD organization, Make-A-Wish events, Traffic Commissioner for Cypress, and President on my Home Owners Association board. Maybe you’ve seen me on the sidelines supporting youth athletes through the “We Are G.A.M.E.” organization, advocating for higher education. And I may have even fostered one of your pets through the spcaLA. If our paths haven't crossed yet, then I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little more about myself and how I plan to help maintain our excellent quality as a member of the Cypress City Council - District 4:

My wife, Cheryl, and I have proudly raised two wonderful daughters here, so I have a personal stake in making sure all families have a bright future. Since moving here 25 years ago, my drive to protect Orange County has led me to become deeply involved in civic affairs.

I’ve listened to our students over these many years and one thing is clear – we need a voice for them. I want to listen to the community and develop a game plan to preserve our open spaces and ensure growth is built responsibly. I am someone who will address our rising debt by promoting fiscal responsibility. With transparency and accountability, we can strengthen our city government and plan for the future of Cypress.

I want to lead the next generation of council persons in growing Cypress to an even better and fiscally responsible place.

I believe residents and families come first in education, growth, development, and fiscal spending. Our city has much to be proud of, but we also face some important challenges. We have land and an expansive race track area that will be developed soon. Our leaders must be prepared to take on tough issues and govern with integrity and consider the families and residents of Cypress, not builders and their desires. With over 40 years of professional experience creating effective solutions for complex problems, negotiating contracts, managing real estate development, building businesses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory oversight, I feel confident that I can help guide and lead the decisions our city will need to make in the upcoming years.

The election is November 5th, 2024, and I need your support now to help me get the message out. I'm a phone call or email away and will respond quickly to any of your concerns or hopes for Cypress. I welcome your ideas and want to thank you personally for your support. As a passionate resident of our city, I will do what I can to ensure Cypress grows to be an even better place for families to live safely and proudly.
