Led new business unit to explosive sales growth. Tapped at Xerox to start up Global Services organization to sell end-to-end content management services. Educated sales staff on products/services and created excitement in sales staff of potential revenue stream. Took $100M budgeted organization to $1B in sales, won multiple awards.

 

Turned around sales team. Challenged with Konica-Minolta branch ranking of 65 out of 68 teams nationally in a critical market. Evaluated individual performances, devised mentoring programs and created/implemented training programs. Established new strategies, policies and procedures, leading the team to #5 ranking in less than two years.
 

Identified lucrative new market. IKON needed to find new markets in a saturated marketplace. My knowledge of government practices led to the discovery of new markets. Met with C-Level personnel and led a direct sales campaign, winning revenues 400% of plan.

 

Career History

 

President/vCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer), IT ServUS, 2016 to current. IT ServUS enables the seamless convergence of telecom, physical & network security systems, and IT services.  As a virtual CIO, we provide 24x7x265 monitoring and support to deliver scalable, secure, and dependable IT environments.  We provide Security as a Service, complete desktop, cloud solutions, and finally Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions.  We bring channel partners into our eco-system to create customer solutions and new business development opportunities in a full-service model.  We assess, design, and proactively monitor your business anytime, anywhere, to prevent issues in your IT network from desktop to server, smartphone to laptop, and every device in between.  IT ServUS, a Minority-Owned Business Organization, was born from the idea that a first-rate IT environment should be a business decision - not a business challenge.

 

Channel Business Manager / Regional Sales Director / Principal Sales Consultant, Xerox Corporation ($5B producer of SaaS services and “smart” equipment), 2008 to 2015. Closed deals in excess of $10M each, achieving over 235% of plan three years in a row. As a Channel Business Manager: Managed all partners and resellers in the Greater Los Angeles and Inland Empire regions for Xerox Partner Channel. Closed at 175% of territory plan, doubling previous years achievements, two years in a row. As a Regional Sales Director: Selected to manage a turnaround situation for the Strategic Accounts team, as well as start new branch in Downtown Los Angeles.

 

Marketplace Vice President, Danka Office Imaging ($250M office solutions company), 2005 to 2007. Selected to manage turnaround for seven branches and reestablish profitability. Held P&L for sales, service, training and supply chain operations. Increased new net business 30%.  Managed $25M budget and 198 employees.
 

Branch Sales Manager, Konica-Minolta Business Solutions ($5B office solutions company), 2003 to 2005. Managed daily activities and performance of 10 sales staff, including mentoring, training, goal-setting and quota development. Built the team from the ground up to #1 in Los Angeles area and #2 nationally. Created new efficiencies.
